The Fair Farms External Stakeholder Reference Group (ESRG)
The Fair Farms External Stakeholder Reference Group (ESRG) provides the formal mechanism for Fair Farms’ engagement with its key stakeholders.
The Fair Farms Program stakeholders include growers, relevant government departments, supply chain partners, retailers, audit bodies, peak industry bodies, worker representatives, and others who are involved in improving workplace practices in Australian Horticulture.
The External Stakeholder Reference Group makes recommendations to the Scheme Owner and does not have delegated decision-making authority.
The Reference Group will achieve its purpose by:
▪ Providing constructive feedback on the implementation of the Program
▪ Identifying opportunities for the Program
▪ Assessing current and potential risks for the program’s success
▪ Providing feedback to the FF Technical Committee on proposed changes to the Fair Farms requirements to reflect reasonable and practical compliance standards.
The Fair Farms Technical Committee
The Fair Farms Technical Committee is a dedicated and independent committee that provides the technical expertise, guidance, advice and recommendations to the Board for consideration in enacting change and amendments within the Fair Farms Program Framework and supporting documentation.
This is conducted through revision and provision of expert advice regarding the Fair Farms Standards, Rules and Audit Guide documentation, and in accordance with the relevant Terms of Reference.
The Technical Committee is appointed by the QFVG Board through a public notification of Expression of Interest.
